Old Facebook Messages

This educates you exactly how to review your old chat messages on Facebook. You can do this from within the Facebook Messenger application, or you can use the desktop computer Facebook web site.

: > Log-in to your Facebook account. Click in the "Messages" button at the top of the Facebook screen.

: > Click "See All."

: > Click in the "Search Messages" area and also go into a search term. Click the "Search" button or press "Enter" on your keyboard.

: > Scroll down the checklist of messages to discover the message. You might need to click "Load Older Thread" at the bottom of the display to show more messages.

: > Sight archived messages by scrolling to the bottom of the web page and clicking the "Archived" link at the bottom of the page. Scroll via your archived messages, if required.

Tips: If you deleted the message from Facebook Carrier, you likely won't be able to recover them.

Warnings: You can not reply to archived messages.
