You can add friends to your Close Friends list to obtain an alert each time they publish. You can turn these notices off at any time.

2. Hover over friends on top of their profile

3. Select Close Friends

Keep in mind: You can add friends to greater than one list or remove friends from a list.

Method 2

1. Open up the Facebook application.

2. Tap menu symbol in upper ideal corner > Friends

3. In the Friends tab, tap the Friend you wish to add to the Close Friends list to check out her/his Facebook page

4. Touch the Friends button > Edit Friend list

5. Select Close Friends, and then touch Done.
