Make Profile Picture Private Facebook
Steps
1. Open up Facebook. Tap the Facebook app icon, which resembles a white "f" on a dark-blue background. This will open your Facebook News Feed if you're logged in.
If you're not logged right into Facebook, enter your e-mail address as well as password prior to proceeding.
2. Touch the account symbol. It's a person-shaped symbol at the end of the display. Doing so will open your profile page.
On an iPad, you may locate this icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
If you do not see the profile icon, faucet ☰ in the bottom-right corner of the screen, then tap your name at the top of the food selection.
3. Scroll down and tap See All Images. You'll find this option below the checklist of photos that's near the top of your account page.
4. Touch the Albums tab. It's at the top of the display.
5. Tap Account Photo. This album needs to be close to the top of the Cds tab. Your present account photo will be the cd cover.
You might need to scroll down to see this album.
6. Select an account photo. Touch the profile photo that you intend to make private.
7. Faucet ⋯. It's in the top-right edge of the screen. A pop-up menu will certainly appear at the bottom of the display.
On an iPad, the food selection will drop-down from the ⋯ icon.
8. Faucet Edit Privacy. This choice is in the pop-up menu. Doing so opens up a checklist of message personal privacy alternatives.
9. Tap Only me. It remains in the "That can see your blog post?" listing of choices.
* If you do not see this choice, first tap More near the center of the screen.
10. Faucet Done. It remains in the top-right corner of the display. Doing so conserves your privacy settings, hence making your chosen account image readable only by you.
If a friend of your own is tagged in your account photo, they can still view the picture.
