How to View Old Facebook Messages

This instructs you how to review your old chat messages on Facebook. You can do this from within the Facebook Carrier app, or you can use the desktop computer Facebook site.

How To View Old Facebook Messages

: > Log-in to your Facebook account. Click in the "Messages" switch on top of the Facebook display.

: > Click "See All."

: > Click in the "Search Messages" field and also go into a search term. Click the "Search" button or press "Enter" on your keyboard.

: > Scroll down the listing of messages to locate the message. You may need to click on "Load Older Thread" at the bottom of the display to show more messages.

: > Sight archived messages by scrolling to the bottom of the web page as well as clicking the "Archived" web link at the end of the page. Scroll through your archived messages, if required.

Tips: If you erased the message from Facebook Carrier, you likely will not be able to obtain them.

Cautions: You can not react to archived messages.
